IDAO is currently an organization in the process of formation. It is intended to be legally established as an association under the Swiss law (Swiss Civil Code - Schweizerisches Zivilgesetzbuch, ZGB) with possible future promotion as an international organization under the international law because its members are the entities of public international law, i.e. states, other international organizations, etc.
The purpose of IDAO is to discuss the possibilities of world developement advancement on the highest political level and based on that promote practical applications.
The founding member of IDAO is the Resortsland organization. Other founding members are welcome to apply and to cooperate on the articles of association. Once the founding members agree on the text of the articles, the association will become a legal person. End date of this process has not been set yet. After the formation new members can be formally accepted via membership application.
Although IDAO has not yet obtained a legal personality, the founding member(s) is already performing practical applications of IDAO ideas to examine their practical feasibility and thus to provide some substantial basis for the discussion during the IDAO formation.
Important current activity is to discuss and search for the solutions of the world crisis caused by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the COVID-19 disease that it causes.
